I watched Lars and the Real Girl last night and must say that it is one of the best films I've seen in a while. Ryan Gosling's performance is superb (when is it not?). The film is a great balance of sweet and funny packed creatively into 107 minutes. The Wall Street Journal praised it as, "An endearing, intelligent, tender comedy." I have to agree. Open your mind and keep that description in consideration. You won't be disappointed.
